Trail Overview

This trail starts on a steep and rocky incline but quickly settles into a well-maintained ranch road with some small seasonal mud patches. It offers stunning views of the valley between the Rincon and the Galiuro mountain ranges. The trail ends at a large turnaround that spurs into other trails leading along the base of the Galiuros.

Difficulty

The trail starts on a steep and rocky hillside but quickly turns into gravel. Expect the rocks to be baseball-sized, loose, and challenging to ascend in 2WD.

Access Description

From Redington Pass, turn onto Cascabel Road towards Benson. After crossing the bridge, look for a white utility gate and enter there. At the second white gate/fence, hang a sharp left and head towards the mountains.
