Trail Overview
The surface is a mix of gravel and sand, and the track is generally only wide enough for a single vehicle. Vegetation crowds close to the edges, and drainage ditches run alongside portions of the trail. Fallen trees are not uncommon and may require clearing to continue. The route winds through a scenic forest with a noticeable abundance of purple hues, giving it a distinct character. Eventually, the trail reaches a swampy section where six large and deep mud holes dominate the path. These holes are often deeper than they appear, so it is recommended to walk them first before attempting to drive through. The swamp road sits below the swamp's water level, adding to the challenge. Once clear of this section, the trail begins to dry out, and the condition improves significantly. A residence is located to the left, and another can be found near the end of the trail. A few side trails branch off the main route, some of which provide access to the water. The trail itself does not offer formal camping opportunities and has no amenities such as water supply or trash disposal, and cell service may be limited in certain areas.

Difficulty
This trail is not maintained and has deep mud holes that cross a flooded swamp (made worse by a hard-working beaver). The trail also features large trees that may need to be relocated or cut to get access.
