Trail Overview
Rock House Falls Road is a short drive in the Cedar Creek Wildlife Management Area of the Oconee National Forest. It leads down to the banks of Murder Creek at Rock House Falls, where there is a small parking area and overlook for the falls. Foot trails lead from the parking area down to Murder Creek Falls. The road itself is one-lane wide with a packed clay and gravel road base. Most of the length is just slightly downhill, but the road steepens significantly in the last several hundred yards, which may present problems for two-wheel drive vehicles when they travel back up from the parking area at the end. All motorized vehicles are required to have license plates.
