Trail Overview
Take this trail for an easygoing, scenic route that ends at a quiet dispersed campsite next to the Upper Nine Mile Pool on the Northwest Upsalquitch crown lands. The trail begins as a relatively smooth, 2-vehicle wide dirt road but narrows to a single lane for the remainder of the trip. There are a few short moderate grades in the last 11 km (~6.8 mi) of the trail that are washed out, and multiple mud puddles between 5-8 inches deep but no longer than 10 meters long. While not particularly deep, the bottom of the mud is very thick and sticky, and will be much deeper after heavy rainfall. Take a sharp right when you reach the river and arrive at a dispersed campsite with a fireplace, picnic table, and outhouse. There is no cell service along the entirety of this trail. NOTE: It is advised to wear hi-vis or orange clothing during hunting seasons (check NB Fish and Wildlife for specific dates).
