Trail Overview

After spending the night camping at Nicklen Lake Rec Site I decided to check out a FSR directly across from the rec site entrance. On my map, it looked like it would loop around back to the main Buck Hills FSR. Unfortunately, it did not do this but it was a nice little trail a little shorter than expected if you like an open space not by a lake to camp, maybe as a hunting camp or base camp for snowmobile weekends, this could actually be a great camping location. There is no water source so you need to bring your own water and you'll also not have any cell coverage. The best part about this little spur road is there is no through traffic kicking up dust.

Difficulty

Very flat one vehicle wide trail with very mild ruts.
