Trail Overview

The logging road to Little Bear Bay is rough and poorly maintained, so you can expect to go very slow to avoid potholes. Five kilometers in the road passes the scenic McCreight Lake. Little Bear Bay is an open rec site adjacent to Johnstone Strait at the estuary of the stream that flows out of Stella and Pye lakes. It has seven open sites overlooking the ocean, the Thurlow Islands, and beyond. A great place to view orca whales and cruise ships! There is a pit toilet aanda boat launch for all your ocean adventures!
