Kakwa Falls

Trail Overview

This trail offers amazing scenery in the Northern Rockies and leads to a beautiful waterfall if you are willing to hike from the end of the trail. It is a fairly long trail and does not loop. The way in is also the way out. All trails off of the main trail are not designated trails, and access is not permitted with motorized vehicles.

Difficulty

Much like all of the off-roading trails in Canada, this trail's difficulty is based on the weather conditions at the time of travel. Adverse weather will create a more difficult experience; however, if conditions are perfect, the trail is moderately difficult due to areas of large bedrock, cambered areas, ruts, and rock ledges.
