Trail Overview
This is a dirt-based forest road in Colville National Forest. The trail is mostly two-track and is very narrow and one lane wide. There are some places to pass as the trail gradually climbs near 700 feet in elevation gain. This trail has minor ruts and wash, some areas with loose rock, and areas of overgrown vegetation and tight trees. The trail used to go farther, but now dead ends at a section of downed trees where the road has been completely taken over by them. Camping is allowed along this entire trail, and there is a large dispersed camping site at the end of the trail. Cell phone service was very weak on the trail, so travel with all needed supplies and a satellite communications device if possible. High clearance 4x4 is recommended for the terrain of this trail; most vehicle types could traverse this trail with proper line choice. There are no amenities, and you are approximately 30 minutes from the nearest supplies and services in Kettle Falls, Washington.
