Trail Overview

This trail does not live up to its "Sagebrush" moniker. Rather, it travels through thick stands of scenic mixed conifers along the south-facing slope of Kerlee Ridge. This trail was built on the surface of an abandoned logging road, so the tread is level and relatively wide. Even so, deadfall is abundant and occasionally narrows the tread to a single lane. This is a nice scenic ride with occasional panoramic views of the Meadow Creek Valley. It also provides one of the segments of a very nice ATV loop route in the area. This trail is closed to all motorized vehicles from October 15 through December 1.

Difficulty

Because this trail is built on an abandoned logging road, there are few obstacles to be overcome. There is some deadfall that narrows the tread width in some locations.
