This trail travels through the Oconee National Forest and Piedmont National Wildlife Refuge. All of the roads are well maintained, and minimal obstacles should be expected to be encountered. Depending on road closures, there are opportunities throughout the route to explore additional trails. Under normal conditions, vehicles with lower clearance should be able to travel the entire route.
