Trail Overview

Boss Canyon is a very scenic 50" only side trail located off the Franklin Basin road between Logan Canyon, Utah and Cub River, Idaho. The trail is in the trees much of the time and ends at a gorgeous overlook on the main ridge of the Bear River Range.

Fun ride on a dirt bike, some ruts which are not uncommon for this trail and gets really rocky around the forest service shed, has a sweet view at the top.

The beginning of the trail has quite a few water holes about a foot deep. As you continue up the trail it transfers into Utah where the trail became very rocky and a little steeper. Overall a great trail and a fun challenge. The peak has amazing views. There are several hiking trailheads at the peak as well.
