Holiday Reflections and New Year’s Aspirations

’Tis the season to look back at the little moments.

The holidays are here and soon we’ll be rounding the corner into the new year. It’s the time of year when we make merry with friends and family, reflect back on both successes and lessons learned throughout the past year and start eagerly planning ahead for a busy 2020. In the midst of the season’s hustle, pause a moment to reflect back on the most important aspects of this past year.

Often, you’ll find they are the intangible ones.

Recall the early-morning gas station coffee that fueled dashboard light conversations. Remember that feeling of anticipation when you turned off the highway and onto that rutted-out dirt road. Look back on nights spent sleeping under the stars and how suddenly the comforts of home became quite relative. Call up memories of long hikes up craggy mountain valleys, and relive the retrospective silence of late evenings in the tree stand. Think about the magic little moments that happened throughout 2019—those, really, are the reasons why we hunt.

Then renew cheerful memories of holiday mornings spent with family; the camaraderie of being around people who love and appreciate the same things we do. We’re grateful to be spending the holiday with our own friends and family here in Montana and beyond, and want to thank you for making us a part of your outdoor experience. Without the onX community—without you—we wouldn’t be doing the work that drives us daily, and together we look forward to helping you create another year of outdoor memories. Thanks for being a part of our year.

Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays.
