Weir 3 Road

Trail Overview

This trail takes you through the northern part of the National Forest, offering a variety of views along the way. The eastern section features a more open landscape, with plenty of chances to spot wildlife. In contrast, the western portion is denser and rockier. At the west end of the trail, the North Fork Lodgepole Creek ponds are just a short walk away. Be sure to keep the gate closed at the east trailhead.

Difficulty

This trail has no major obstacles. There are small mud holes after rain with a hard base. There are a few rocky sections that can be traversed in a stock vehicle with correct tire placement.
