Trail Overview

If traveling this trail from south to north it will start off in some twisty but wide open areas, of clear-cut forest. The trail surface in this section is very soft sand. This creates a very fun section of the trail to run. As the trail progresses it will enter into a state forest where the trail will become tighter and twistier. The scenery through the woods is excellent with abundant wildlife all around. Some areas of this trail are specific to ATVs and SxS, and others are open to road-going vehicles as well. The trail ranges from two vehicles wide down to some tight spots that are just over one vehicle wide.

Difficulty

This trail can be completed by riders of all skill levels. The most challenging area could be considered the clear-cut section. This is due to the soft nature of the sand as it can have a tendency to pull vehicles around. If the trail has not been groomed recently the outside banks of corners can pile up with sand, with the potential to pull a machine off the trail if caution is not taken. Like all trails in this area, the difficulty experienced revolves a lot around when the trail was last groomed. If the trail has not been groomed for a while or it just rained the trail will be more difficult. If it has been groomed it will be much easier. Caution will need to be taken in some of the portions of this trail that navigate through the woods, as there are several blind corners.
