Trail Overview
This trail is a continuation of Marinette County Trail 5 and the official starting point for Florence County F15. It runs from intersection marker 9 to 10/10A. The scenery on this trail is excellent as it winds through some very picturesque Florence County Forest. This trail will run to the start of the La Salle Falls trail, where there is a very picturesque waterfall located roughly a mile off the trail. The trail surface is mostly sand with some small portions of hard pack mixed throughout. Several portions of the trail will have small washouts after rain exposing areas, of large rock and boulders that lay under the trail. These can be easily avoided or, traversed. This trail will also have several areas that will fill with water after a recent range. Depth will vary from 6-12 inches. This trail will have several areas where there is the possibility for road-going vehicle traffic on the trails as well. The trails are two machines wide, with some spots just wide enough for one machine. There are several areas in the narrow sections to allow for passing.

Some areas of sand can cause a vehicle to push in corners depending on the speeds used. Visibility in most areas is okay to good, with some spots being poor due to build corners. There will occasionally be some water spots that range from 6-12" deep depending on rain, as well as an occasional washout that will expose some large rocks and boulders.
