Trail Overview
This short point-to-point trail is part of the Reiter Foothills 4X4 area and starts at Parking Area 2. This trail basically has 3 mandatory obstacles, the two gatekeepers and a stepped ledge area. Along this trail are several optional rock obstacles that are rated between 5-7. The most difficult mandatory obstacle along this trail is a series of ledges (steps) between 12-24" in height. This is an excellent trail for a beginner to improve their off-roading skills.

History
The 10,000-acre Reiter Foothills Forest is a continuous block of forest land located between the towns of Gold Bar and Index providing over 4 miles of single-track motorcycle trails, 2 miles of ATV trails, and over 2 miles of challenging 4X4 trails with a high density of rock obstacles.
