Trail Overview
Beginning trail from the West: what begins as a wide and easy shelf two-track trail slowly becomes more and more narrow with overgrowth. Full-size vehicles are highly discouraged and will certainly receive paint damage. Some sections were so narrow and tunnel-like that even on a moto bike the vegetation brushed the rider. Despite that, this trail appeared active by the various camp spots along the way, as noted by the fire rings. Most of them had incredible overlook views of the valley below. The trail itself is not terribly difficult, but there are a handful of brief interesting sections. Typical trail potholes and erosion ruts are present. Fallen or low-hanging trees are very likely. The area is unmaintained (closed) in the winter and early spring months. No cell service.
