Lovers Lane

Trail Overview

This short point-to-point trail is part of the Reiter Foothills 4X4 area and is great for beginners. Though this trail has few obstacles it does have several tight turns between trees, stumps, and rocks. Lovers Lane has many opportunities for your rig to kiss the trees. Longer wheelbase vehicles will have to make multiple 3 to 4-point turns to negotiate the trail. There is an optional loop along this trail with more difficult obstacles.

Difficulty

The difficult portions of this trail consist of rock obstacles up to 12" in height and a rock ramp that is approximately 20" in height.

History

The 10,000-acre Reiter Foothills Forest is a continuous block of forest land located between the towns of Gold Bar and Index providing over 4 miles of single-track motorcycle trails, 2 miles of ATV trails, and over 2 miles of challenging 4X4 trails with a high density of rock obstacles.
