Forest Crossing

Trail Overview

This short trail connects from FR 42 to Buck Lookout Road and is an alternate route for getting to Buck Mountain. It's a narrow rocky two-track trail with a handful of steep grades up/down and over the ridge. Higher clearance with 4WD is advised. There is a small pond in the middle, at which point the trail has a very rutted section. In wet conditions, it becomes very muddy. The area is closed in the winter months and is impassable until the snow melts.
