This is a short connecting trail from Flake-Swale trail to Tom Best-Flake Swale trail (FSR 31162). As you travel, you will be in a forested area with several interesting rock outcroppings. This is a high plains area with pine trees and sagebrush. If you're lucky, you will see antelope or deer staring at you from the brush.
