Trail Overview

This road is graded and suitable for all types of vehicles. The width of the road is adequate for passing. Campers and trailers can traverse this road. This area is dry desert sagebrush terrain (no trees). Rock formations with varied colors make the desert look like it is in bloom. Rock spires and small mesas bring interest. Two water holes for wildlife and cattle can be seen from the road. Watch for antelope, rabbits, desert song birds, hawks, and eagles. This road, with a mostly smooth surface and sparse traffic, attracts mountain bicyclists for training and sightseeing. If the surface is wet, the road can be muddy and slippery.
