Trail Overview
This trail starts on the opposite side of the fence from the rest area and continues up to Ripple Valley Pass trail. The trail is wide and easy but not graded. The view of the valley from the top of the trail is really nice and worth the trip. The trail is not steep but does gradually rise up to Ripple Valley Pass. This is a great option if you want to travel from the frontage road to Ripple Valley Pass and beyond.
