Trail Overview

This is a scenic trail that splits off of Murdock Basin Road that heads up to a beautiful mountain lake called Marshall Lake. The North side of the trail starts off being rocky with some large rocks to crawl over at the start of the road while the South side of the trail is not as rocky but has 2 low spots that have the potential for large puddles. In the center, the road that leads to Marshall Lake is a combination of the other 2 with some low spots with potential for water, as well as rocky sections. The trail dead ends at a clearing with room to park and take the short walk over to Marshall Lake, or to hike down one of the multiple hiking trails branching from this area. While this is a rough road with a couple of obstacles, it is worth the trip to this beautiful lake.
