Trail Overview
The trail starts off as a gravel road that will quickly turn into a washboard-style road. The washboard ruts will come and go, the majority of them being at the beginning and end of the route. This is an out-and-back trail, so everything that you go over, you will drive over again. After the first mile, there will be some loose dirt. This dirt will come and go in between the gravel sections. There are two very small, mild rock garden sections without a bypass. The trail will end with a teardrop-style turn around. There is a ton of beautiful vegetation out this way, and a great way to see more of Big Bend National Park. High clearance and 4WD are not required, unless there has been recent precipitation.

Difficulty
This trail follows a narrow roadway with two rocky sections that add mild difficulty. Recent precipitation can make the route very muddy, and there are no solid winch points available.
