Trail Overview

Trail A4 is a more primitive and lightly trafficked single-track at Doe Mountain, offering a rugged and immersive ride through dense forest. The trail begins faintly, featuring awkwardly placed downed logs, thick leaf cover, and natural debris that can obscure the path. Riders will navigate tight tree and thicket corridors, thick root bands, minor ruts, and occasional sidehill sections. As the trail progresses and sees more use from alternate entry points, it becomes easier to follow and more defined. Steep climbs, small roots, and minor embedded rocks add to the challenge. It crosses multiple sections of the SxS trail, where the single track continues from another unmarked entrance, requiring attention to navigation.
