Trail Overview

Trail A3 is a singletrack at Doe Mountain, featuring a tight, winding path that quickly immerses riders in dense vegetation and classic Appalachian terrain. The trail is well-defined but socked in with leaf cover, overhanging branches, and narrow tree tunnels. Riders will navigate loose sections that challenge traction, along with small root bands, embedded rocks, and numerous downed logs--most of which are passable, though some are at odd heights that might require getting the bike over or under. The north end pops out at the intersection with Trails 15 and 117 and the next segment of single track.
