Trail Overview
A smooth, well-maintained valley-bottom road that winds through a quiet and scenic drainage in the Black Hills. This is a mellow drive--easygoing for any stock 4x4 or even some crossovers--surrounded by open forest, pockets of meadow, and signs of occasional elk and deer traffic. The tread is hard-packed dirt and gravel with minimal rutting, and the grade stays gentle throughout. No gates, no major obstacles, and great visibility make this a good intro trail or peaceful exit from the higher ridges. Keep an eye out for dispersed camping pullouts tucked along the tree line. Cell service may be spotty depending on your carrier. Pack in, pack out, leave no trace, and tread lightly.

Difficulty
This is more of a scenic route than a hard off-road trail. The main surface is graded gravel; however, washouts and mud patches are possible during the rainy season.
