Trail Overview

Trail 37 is a 1.6 mile long easy ATV trail through the Rivers South OHV Area in the Deschutes National Forest. The trail is open to 50" vehicles, but looks more ridden by dirt bikes, and would be a bit narrow for ATVs in many places. The north end starts off of FS 9751000, just a short distance away from the staging area. It winds through a dry and dusty lodgepole pine forest with tight curves, snaking tightly between the trees. The trail is mostly flat with very little elevation change. It is soft dirt with intermittent small roots across the trail. Mostly you need to just watch your handlebars on the trees in the tight sections, and keep your eyes up around the many blind corners, as this trail system allows two-way traffic. It intersects with the singletrack trail 25 mid-way through, then ends on Trail 30.
