Trail Overview
This is a 1.1-mile singletrack rated black diamond in the system,it but rides more like an upper intermediate route because it is less steep than most of the black diamond trails. Starting from the east, it descends steeply on a narrow path with several downed logs--including an elevated one you have to duck under. The trail follows shelfy side-hilling terrain with notable exposure and narrows significantly in places. Look out for a particularly washed-out section about 0.4 miles from the east entrance - it crosses a ravine with some exposure, but can be avoided by taking the safer high line around it.
