Trail Overview
This is a 1.5-mile singletrack that drops off from a logging road into a scenic stretch of typical Pacific Northwest forest: dense, mossy and rooty. The trail is narrow and mostly flowy, with a mix of semi-steep and more gradual terrain. Moderate root obstacles are scattered throughout, but they tend to appear in less intense sections, avoiding the steep climbs and descents that define more advanced routes, making them more approachable. The last section on the west end ascends directly up a hillside through a mossy forest of western white pines, with shelfy, exposed sections, moderate root obstacles, and tight switchbacks. The trail overall is fun, manageable, and well-suited to intermediate riders looking for a technical but not overwhelming ride.
