Trail Overview

This route will take you from beautiful high lakes to a warming hut (North Blowout Shelter) with outstanding views. The roads are rough and tight in sections requiring a high clearance vehicle. You will pass through an area of black sand that has a ton of area to have some fun. The shelter does not allow for camping, but there are a significant number of great areas to camp throughout.

Trail was wet, but passable. 2 large areas with wheel deep standing water, with some fairly muddy spots. limited snow piles, and the sand was well packed. some large rocks, but all easy to navigate. Will need a few more weeks for the water to reside. don't drive into the meadow, you'll get stuck.

Great mid-level Trail with a few different options for routes. Some trees down right past the 2000900 rd. Ended up taking a side trail.
