Trail Overview
This trail is a great route to get connected to dozens of amazing trails. Located near the Collier Logging Museum, this trail travels between open logged meadows and thick woods. The road surface is mainly gravel with some sections of sand. This trail offers an alternative route to Burnt Butte Pit, is well-maintained, and is wide enough in most places for 2 vehicles. One across the train tracks, you are given phenomenal views of the gorge below. If traveling during the week, keep an eye out for log truck use, as this road often has active logging. It is recommended to drive this trail on the weekends or carry a CB radio if possible.
