Trail Overview

Trail 586 has narrow, primitive, and less-maintained sections of trail, and numerous downed logs, including some very large logs requiring reroutes or riding over. Portions range from narrow trail resembling more of a singletrack, with loose rocks and sharp curves, to wider gravel road segments. The eastern side passes through a burn area with loose rocks in a narrow trail, while the north end opens to a wide road with logs on the trail, still in the burn area. Several of the intersections are unmarked when the trail connects with the road and then spurs back off the road, so a map is helpful with navigation.

Difficulty

This is a more moderate route due to narrow, primitive, rocky sections and potential for newly downed logs in a burn area. There are currently several big uncut logs that will require riding over or going around.
