Trail Overview
Trail 41D is a short but demanding directional singletrack, running north to south and packing a serious challenge into just a quarter mile. It begins with a steep climb from the north entrance, gaining almost 200 feet in the first half over a very narrow trail with steep, dug-out root obstacles and loose rock that make traction difficult. After topping out, the trail immediately drops into an equally steep and rutted descent, requiring careful control on the loose surface. Though brief, the extreme grades and technical features make this trail best suited to advanced riders.
