Trail Overview

This trail begins right before a golf course and will lead you to an open campsite, near a water bank. The trail starts pretty easy for about 1/2 mile and begins to get more technical. Patience is a virtue when going over this terrain, as pointed rocks and trenches can cause a flat tire if you're not too careful. At least 12 inches of ground clearance is recommended. The trail also presents with beautiful overlooks and views of Broken Bow lake below.

Difficulty

We recommend at least 12 inches of ground clearance, as many areas on this trail have sharp rocks, deep trenches, along with water/mud crossings. 4x4 and AWD-capable vehicles should have no issues making it to the end.

This was mostly loose rock. Several mud pits to drive through. Several steep grades. Only did the section between the golf course and the turn to get on 52900. That section took 1.5 hours 1 way going slow in 4Lo. If you are brand new to off-roading, this is not an easy trail. I have almost 9 inches of ground clearance and only hit my skid plate once. I think 10 inches of clearance with the right lines would do fine.

The path is rough and muddy! Iykyk some mud with rocky bottom. Loose rock inclines with some small wash outs. We rode the trail between the golf course and the turned around at 52900 and came back to the waterfall area so the kids could swim. Water fall location: North cedar creek, north of trail entering from golf course road. Find the creek, go past just a little, turn left go up 60 yards, turn left park by camping spot. Walk north 30 secs. Listen for the people or water. Great views and best trail I’ve rode in the area so far.

Access Description

The trail begins in front of a golf course main entrance. There is an open area at the start that you can air down and secure your belongings before the trail begins.
