Trail Overview

Pettiford Creek Trail 3 is an offshoot of Bogue Road Spur that connects to the Pettiford Creek Main Trail. While Trail 3 and the Main Trail run parallel, they only link up at the beginning and end, making Trail 3 a scenic and slightly more engaging alternative. It features a few fun whoops, a small mud patch that can expand with rainfall, and a large dip near the end that may challenge some vehicles. A potential campsite for one or two vehicles is located at the trail's end, though it may not be officially designated. Overall, the trail is easy and enjoyable to drive, but stay alert for wildlife, hikers, and other vehicles.
