Trail Overview
Trail 5B is a directional single-track route traveling north to south, offering a technical challenge for dirt bike riders. Most of the 1.2-mile route is a very steep descent. The trail features embedded root bands and rocks creating small drop-offs, combined with off-camber slopes, narrow side-hilling, and slick leaf-covered surfaces. Steep downhill switchbacks with diagonal roots require careful line choice to avoid sliding sideways, especially in wet conditions. Riders will also encounter deep rutted sections and a small rocky stream crossing, making this a demanding trail best suited for more experienced riders.

Difficulty
This is a 5 difficulty because although it is extremely steep, it will be easier in the downhill direction, dropping off the roots instead of having to climb up them. The slick natural terrain makes this one geared towards experienced riders.
