Trail Overview
7 Waterfalls is a short but gnarly rock-crawling trail in the Glade Run Recreation Area. It has several extreme waterfall obstacles that are 6-foot or more tall ledges that are nearly vertical. The trail makes a figure 8 shape, and you'll likely want to do it in a counterclockwise direction starting from the north trailhead, which will have you going up the most advanced ledges first. The bottom loop has a couple of minor obstacles that are small slick rock ledges, but the top loop is where all the action is. It climbs to the top of the mesa through a series of steep rock shelves. They have undercut rock ledges 6+ feet tall that have been dug out at the bottom from people spinning against the wall. This would make it really hard for a SXS. On the way down, going counterclockwise, the trail descends down a loose hill on an off-camber slick rock obstacle next to a rock overhang, then takes you around a tree. The trail is only a third of a mile but is one of the more extreme obstacles in the area.
