Trail Overview
Also named River End Road K or 42765K, this road takes you down a wash that ends at the East Walker River. Alongside the river at the base of a hillside is a hot spring pool lined with concrete and stones. You will descend over one thousand feet in its 6 miles going through off-camber, steep, and narrow shelf sections. This author has had a high clearance 4x4 with a trailer down the route in the past but made the last trip in a SxS. On the most recent trip in a SxS, the trail was very washed out in sections, and I am not sure it is possible in a high-clearance 4x4. This is a very remote area always travel with multiple vehicles.

Difficulty
This trail has sections of narrow shelfs with long drop-offs, off-camber sections, erosion, loose rocks, sand, and washed-out areas should be expected. Always travel with multiple vehicles with winches. There is not much to winch off of other than a second vehicle. If trail conditions do not allow you to continue to the bottom, you may be backing up a long, narrow trail for a long way for a place to turn around. Conditions vary from year to year.
