Trail Overview

Most of this section of the ride from Logandale to Lake Mead consists of a very long, wide sand wash. There are many obstacles to avoid, but since it is so vast, I also rate this section as easy. At the end, you will come to the Echo Bay boat launch, about 1/4 short of the lake. The trail continues to what was once part of Lake Mead but now takes you to the current Echo Bay area.

Difficulty

Almost all of this 5+ miles of track is a very wide sand wash. While there are lot's of obstacles, they are easy to avoid. There is a Sinclair Gas Station at the top of what was the boat launch but they are not open on the weekends and I suggest calling them if you believe that you will need gas to make the return trip
