Trail Overview

Timber trail is an easy trail with sections of small ruts and some rocks that are pretty small. Other than that, the surface is mostly a fine gravel/sandy surface. The beginning of the trail is one full-size vehicle wide and if you met another vehicle on this section, you shouldn't have too much trouble getting past them. The first mile has some decent ledges as well. When you get near the mile-and-a-half mark of this trail there is a fork in the trail. To stay on this trail you will take the trail to the right. After this intersection, the trail narrows down a little bit and you might struggle to pass another vehicle at this point. When you reach the 3-mile mark, be prepared for a very narrow trail experience. You will come across a few stretches of the trail where even a side-by-side will rub on bushes on both sides pretty badly. If you are in a full-size vehicle you might consider turning back at mile 3. The trail ends abruptly from overgrown bushes and trees near the 4-mile mark.
