Trail Overview

Heading from north to south, this trail narrows and grows slightly more challenging as you gain elevation. Near the top, the track appears to be sensitive to rain and snowmelt and likely becomes quite muddy when water is present. As you begin to descend (heading toward the south), you'll encounter sweeping views and an informal campsite or two.

Overall this trail is very easy (though a little narrow in some spots) for most stock 4x4 vehicles. However, when you add water to the equation, it appears that this trail can become quite muddy and fairly deep (8 to 12-inch) ruts could pose a challenge to some vehicles.

Forest service won’t open a gate to a trail that is completely fine and un obstructed. It’s been open all winter and it’s now closed
