Trail Overview
This is a narrow spur road that winds through a narrow forest path and an open ridge with a few meadows in between. The trail ends on a peak that has a great view of the plains around Stanford. The trail offers a unique view of Square Butte. There are nice areas to camp on the route. Some sharp and narrow turns through the trees made it with a suburban but it was tight! The trail is mostly easy driving, a few steep sections. The road looks like it continues after the peak, but people have blocked it with downed trees, and it is very steep and may dead end on private property. Be prepared for fallen trees, tuck your in mirrors, scratch your paint, and enjoy this fun one-way road.
