Trail Overview
This trail is generally easy and well-suited for most 4WD vehicles. It follows a dirt path through a wooded area and features some moderate overgrowth, so light pinstriping is possible, especially for wider rigs. Along the way, the trail guides you to the Bold Choice Rock Garden, a spot where people often stop to watch others tackle the more difficult rock lines. It's a great place to hang out and enjoy the action. Further down the trail, you'll come to a peaceful picnic area with a scenic overlook, perfect for a break. There are no major obstacles on this route.

History
The Iron Range OHV Recreation Area was built on reclaimed mining land, once part of the rich Mesabi Iron Range that fueled U.S. steel production for over a century. Today, this 1,200+ acre site blends industrial history with outdoor adventure, offering a rare chance to ride through the remnants of Minnesota's mining legacy.
