Trail Overview
This trail begins at a paved road and transitions into a wide, well-maintained gravel surface that travels through a mix of open fields, forested areas, and residential properties. Early on, it offers a smooth and straightforward drive, but conditions shift after a fork where the route branches into an active logging road. From this point forward, the trail is composed of red gravel and passes through sections of recently cut forest, with visible stacks of timber lining the roadside. The surface becomes uneven, with muddy patches and occasional ruts, especially after rain. Drivers should stay to the right and be cautious of potential logging truck traffic. There are a few clearings where it is possible to turn around if needed. While the drive provides an interesting look at working forest land, it does not include any designated or dispersed campsites. There are also no services along the route, and cell coverage may be unreliable.
