Trail Overview

This trail transitions into a one-way route near the Skull Crawl area, so pay close attention to signage to avoid going the wrong direction. It's primarily a dirt-based path that winds through a heavily wooded area, offering a peaceful ride through the trees. Some sections of the trail have overgrowth, which means pinstriping is likely, especially for wider vehicles. Along the way, you'll encounter a few shallow puddles, especially after rainfall, but they tend to have a solid bottom and are easy to drive through. There are no major obstacles, making this trail suitable for most 4WD vehicles with moderate clearance.

Today, this 1,200+ acre site blends industrial history with outdoor adventure, offering a rare chance to ride through the remnants of Minnesota's mining legacy.
