Trail Overview

Inner Forest Road between Hubbard County Road 2 and Spur I Forest Road is 4.6 miles long and takes about 1 minute to travel at an average speed of 15. MPH. This section of trail is on part of Paul Bunyan Forest Road 14. Inner Forest Road continues on past the intersection mapped here but per the Dirt Devils ATV Club information, it does not allow ATV access to County Road 91. (Trail is closed) This 4.6-mile section of Inter Forest Road also includes a visit to Waboose Lake. (The trail to Waboose Lake is .6 miles of Forest Road 18 one way)

Access Description

This section of trail was mapped based out of the Akeley parking lot at Mill Street and Hillside Ave NW. This is the Heartland State Trail Rest Area parking lot. (Remember not to ride the tar trail along the parking lot area, you want the gravel trail to the south or city side for ATV's and SxS's) MAP 47.00357, -94.73362 ATV related parking for the Paul Bunyan State Forest Area can also be found off State Hwy 64 & Blue Trail Forest Rd 16 MAP 47.08484, -94.74281 and off State Hwy 64 & East Gulch Forest Ln 74 MAP 47.15628, -94.799
