This trail is accessed from Sawbill Trail and follows a long stretch of red and brown gravel that is generally well-maintained. The road winds through forested terrain and offers a mostly smooth driving surface, though drivers should expect some potholes and mild corrugation, especially on the inclines and descents. Local traffic is common, particularly as the road provides access to Sawbill Camp and the Sawbill Canoe Outfitters. Along the way, the trail crosses Hog Creek and Plouff Creek and passes several small lakes. There are several side trails branching off from the main route, but most of these are narrow and overgrown, making them more suitable for side-by-sides or ATVs rather than full-size vehicles.
