Trail Overview

This trail begins on a well-maintained single-lane gravel surface. There are a few wider sections that allow for easier passing, but the majority of the trail remains narrow. It winds through a forested area with a series of gentle ascents and descents. Closer to the railway crossing, a few residences can be found along the route, so caution is advised when approaching that section. At the top of one hill, the trail opens into a clearing, although there is no clear access to the clearing. During warmer months, snakes are commonly seen along the trail, so travelers should remain aware of their surroundings. The trail has a peaceful, natural character, and several smaller paths branch off from the main route, though many of them are unmarked. There are no formal or dispersed campsites along this trail, and it lacks amenities such as trash bins or access to potable water. Cell service may be limited or unavailable.
