Trail Overview
This trail is accessed from the paved Highway 44 and follows a mostly straight path with a series of gentle ascents and descents. The surface is bumpy in places, with sections of corrugation that may require reduced speed. The surrounding landscape exhibits clear signs of fire recovery, yet it remains scarred by the event. Toward the end of the route, the trail reaches an intersection that provides access to the Tomilla Lake trailhead. Although the area offers scenic views and access to the forest, there are no developed or dispersed campsites along the trail itself. Basic amenities such as trash bins, potable water, and restroom facilities are not available. Cell phone reception may be weak or nonexistent depending on location, so visitors should plan accordingly and prepare for a self-sufficient experience.
